Avengers Posters - The Creative Shark

I am a total sucker for comic book movies, even the rubbish ones (except Wolverine, that was too bad!), and I also like the odd reinterpreted movie poster providing they are well executed.

I came across these today which are a really nice set of posters for the upcoming Avengers movie created by Val Cabadonga, otherwise known as The Creative Shark

Nothing can prepare us for what could potentially be either an epic comic book movie masterpiece or a massively over-hyped miss-step of a film, either way these are some great posters which you should definitely take time out to have a look at.

Astronaut Design

Some really nice work from a designer called Slava from Kazakhstan who goes by the moniker, Astronaut Design.

Great minimalist work with strong geometric shapes and the photography has a really moody feel that's right up my street.

For more work either check out Behance or their website.

Experience Zero Gravity

I remember many years ago I watched a VHS tape of Bodhi and Johnny Utah jumping out of a plane in Point Break and thought it was the best thing i'd ever seen. As a "young whipper snapper," seeing the perceived freedom of a group of surfers flying through the air to a dreamy soundtrack really hit a chord, and somehow made me think that those types of experiences are what makes life great and since then, freefalling videos have held a special place in my heart, especially when done well.

Experience Zero Gravity is a video by Betty Wants In for InfinityList.com, a central platform for the best cinematic sports videos, about a group of base jumpers hurling themselves off of the most beautiful peaks in Norway, Switzerland and France.

No more to say other than lose yourself in a well made 2 minutes 54 seconds of a dreamy adrenaline fuelled extreme sports video.

Little hand says it's time to rock and roll.

TOKYO SLO-MODE by Alex Lee

Alex Lee, according to his twitter bio, is a "student/filmmaker, based in Japan, moved to NY- working like a dog."

His video TOKYO SLO-MODE is a great film that combine jump cuts with slow motion footage, HDR styling and a killer track by Thom Yorke and Flying Lotus.

Well worth checking out and I look forward to seeing more from Lee in the future.
